Phase II Submission Form
Phase II will be graded against 3 metrics: effectiveness (measured from the 17 Cities: Skylines metrics listed), aesthetics (is it beautiful?), and innovation/creativity (how did you push the design of your city in innovative directions?).
Phase II is due Sunday, September 06 at 11:59pm. This is the FINAL, extended deadline. *Entries received after this time will unfortunately be disqualified.
PHASE II Deliverables
Please submit, in a single zipped folder per Team, all of the following for your completed city:
9-10 plan view screenshots documenting the growth of your city from Little Hamlet (460) to Grand City (22K) or Capital City (36K);
17 screenshots confirming the various scores achieved in Cities: Skylines;
5 screenshots (either in plan or perspective, or a combination) that show how your city is beautiful; and
5 screenshots (either in plan or perspective, or a combination) that show how your city is innovative.
a word doc (.docx) with a ‘Design Bibliography:’ a list of design resources (websites, YouTube video links, etc) that informed the design of the city. No citation style required.
A single 11”x17” (landscape orientation; PDF only) slide that shows your top 4 city images, with the name of your city legibly written somewhere on the slide (this will be used in the final presentation of cities during the awards ceremony).
*Note: All screenshots must be submitted as JPEGs. Any other image type files will result in disqualification.
OPTIONAL: 5-10 second video aerial of city (will not be used for judging but could be used in SAPL’s social media promotion of the City Game-A-Thon).
